On January 20, Brian’s wife, Shannon, suffered a seizure and slipped into a coma. After extensive testing, doctors discovered that she has cancer in her brain, liver, and pancreas. Despite their efforts, they have been unable to determine why she has not woken up. In search of more answers, Shannon was recently transferred to UCSF, far from home, for further evaluation and care.

Brian is doing everything he can to support their 12-year-old son, Matthew, while continuing to work. With Shannon’s condition so uncertain and her treatment taking place hours away, the emotional and financial burden on their family is immense.

We are raising funds to help ease the financial strain on Brian so he can focus on caring for Matthew and navigating this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution will go toward travel expenses, daily necessities, and the costs that come with supporting a family in crisis.
