Support Brianna's Custody Journey

Hi Everyone, We are Brianna's Gramma & Grampa. On January 4th, when she was 8 months old, her mom, decided to take it upon herself to have her Aunts come to our home & take her & Brianna, where they lived with my son, falsely accused him of cheating & having a gun, & within a few days they were in Iowa with her mother & had a protection order filed. She completely alienated all of us from Brianna's life for 2 months until we were able to get a court order forcing her to video chat with Devon every evening & another month before he was able to get 50/50 custody of her which involves traveling 5 1/2 hours, 1 way, the 1st Saturday of every month to exchange her back & forth. April 5th, PTL, we finally brought her home for our 1st visit. The 1st week was a pretty difficult transition period but slowly but surely she came around & we rebonded with her beautifully. Letting her go back for the 1st time on May 3rd was heartbreaking, little did we know how hard it would be. When we pulled up, Caitlin was waiting with a police officer to serve Devon with the protection order. We barely got to say goodbye to our Brianna as she cried & clung to Devon & Caitlin just walked away cold & quickly with no consideration for anyone, especially Brianna, & Devon is now restrictricted from contact with his baby girl until this is all resolved. Like missing her isn't enough. Now this. Now we have the protection order to contend with, another unnecessary expense but God always provides a way. I just put a random amount where this fundraiser asks for how much we are trying to raise, really anything would help. For whoever said we have raised $7K, you might want to check your facts before you go snooping & run to the Judge. HA! Rest assured, every penny raised is going straight to Attorney fees/court costs. Prayers would be wonderful for all my prayer warriors out there!
