Hi, my name is Briana Rodriguez.

On May 19th, my friends and I were on our way home from EDC Las Vegas when the truck we had rented suddenly caught fire. It started in the engine, and within minutes, the flames spread to the RV we were traveling with. We barely had time to react before everything went up in flames—the truck eventually exploded, and the fire traveled to the RV, leaving us with nothing. We weren’t able to save a single thing.

We’re beyond grateful that we all made it out safely, but we lost everything: keys, laptops, cameras, clothes, and personal essentials. Some of us rely on these things for school and work, and not all of us are in a position to easily replace what was lost.
