Support Brian Mita’s Fight with Cancer

Brian Mita, General Manager & Chef of family owned Izakaya Mita in Chicago, Certified Sake Professional, and my twin brother needs your support.
Brian has stage 2 Colon Cancer. He’s already had surgery and will have to start preventative chemotherapy and the resulting recovery in the coming weeks. The good news is that it looks like he’s going to beat this! So I am asking for your support to help him with supplemental income as he won’t be able to work while recovering for 6 months.
We will keep you updated here as thing progress as we are going day by day at this point.
If we break the goal Brian wanted to donate the remaining funds to Hope For A Day to help support mental health & substance abuse in the restaurant community as it is a cause that is very near to his heart.
