My Dad, Brett Greer, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in February. This came after a lengthy battle with back pain and type 2 diabetes diagnosed in December.

My Dad as well as our family were shocked by this revelation. He has been generally healthy all of his life with no family history of pancreatic cancer.

It’s not an easy road ahead, and with several rounds of chemotherapy he has found himself unable to continue working a labor heavy job. Medical treatments, both traditional and holistic, offer a glimmer of hope. However, these costs are often out of pocket and he is now on short term disability, which is cutting his income down more than half.

I’m hoping to raise funds so that not only can my Dad receive the best care, but so he and my Mom do not have to worry about daily living expenses with less income. If you know Brett, you know he is an extremely strong person. You may also know that he has a sense of pride that keeps him from asking for help. But I am doing this on his behalf because he deserves it. I’ve never met anyone so giving without asking for anything in return. He is a fighter through and through, and I want nothing more than him to be able to watch his grandsons grow up.
