Brentley has a rare genetic mutation KCNT1 that causes nocturnal epilepsy. Brentley was diagnosed when he was 4 years ago. His father recently passed from this condition. Unfortunately has been placed in ICU due to uncountable seizures as of yesterday Monday December 1st that have made him stable but unresponsive at this time. Melissa is unable to work as she is needed to be by his side. Brentleys step dad Austin is continuing to work and take their two other children to school and care for them while melissa and Brentley are at children’s.
