Support Breckin's Journey with YWAM (Youth With A Mission)

Hi friends and family,

My name is Breckin and I’ve chosen to take a gap year after high school to further pursue God. In September, I will be starting Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With a Mission (YWAM). I have been saving for this goal over the past year, but any extra funds raised to help me on my journey, will be greatly appreciated.

I believe that choosing to do DTS, and following their leading into missions to spread the word of God, is a perfect choice for myself. This experience of training and missions will be the next element of the Lord’s work in my life. And I do not need to take it alone, but it is a faithful opportunity for God to work in you too. This will be an incredible journey and I invite you along with me, not only financially, but also in prayer. Please continue to keep me in your prayers for guidance to help others in need, in addition, for my safety as I travel.

Discipleship Training School - Youth With A Mission

In Trailblazers DTS 6-month experience, everything centres around Jesus' call to know God and make Him known. In-class biblical training is paired with in-the-field mission experience. Trailblazers DTS aligns with global standards and curriculum regulated by YWAM’s University of the Nations (UofN). Grow alongside a team of passionate Jesus followers and discover who God is, who we are in Him, and how to live our calling.

During Lecture Term passionate and insightful lecturers will bring Biblically-based teaching on who God is, who we are, and how to live our calling. We’ll also engage in worship and prayer, 1-on-1 mentorship, group processing, exploration, and outreach across Niagara Falls. The emphasis is on personal transformation, not just head knowledge.

Outreach Term focuses on answering the call of the Great Commission, activating the knowledge we've gained and the gifts we've discovered in a cross-cultural context (country is yet to be determined). Our outreach team will lead various projects that bring the Gospel to people in a way they understand, providing care and justice to the isolated and forgotten.

YWAM Niagara began in March of 2020 with a vision to see every person encounter Christ by empowering young people to live their calling. This vision remains the cornerstone of all our ministry activity in Niagara and the nations. 

 Our YWAM Niagara mission centre is part of YWAM's global family of ministries and is located in Niagara Falls Canada. This area, on both sides of the adjacent Canada/USA border, is a destination famous around the world drawing every kind of visitor from absolutely every nation. Niagara is host to a large and diverse population with a deep-rooted history of Christianity that carries on today. However, the majority of Niagara residents and the nations who visit have yet to encounter Christ, the greatest wonder our world has ever known, and God has called us to change that.
