Hi everyone! My name is Brayden Levy, and I’m a Life Scout in Troop 50. I’m working hard to achieve the highest rank in Boy Scouts, Eagle Scout. To earn this honor, I need to complete a community service project.
For my project, I’m leading a team to build a raised garden planter (10 feet long by 3 feet) for the Temple Isaiah pre-school. This garden will provide a fun and educational space for the kids to learn about gardening and the environment.
I’m hoping to raise $2,750 to cover the cost of long-lasting redwood, all materials and supplies, and food for the volunteers who will be helping with the project. Your generous donation will make a big difference in helping me achieve my goal and make a positive impact on my community. Thank you for your support!
Here's the big breakdown:
- $830 on redwood lumber
- $96 on non-lumber material
- $596 on other supplies including soil, the plants, garbage bags, hay, sandpaper, etc.
- $300 on tools, renting a truck
- $400 on food for volunteers, the plaque, and anything left over goes to the temple
