On September 30th, 2025, Brandon was found in the hallway of his apartment building by his neighbor, unable to walk or speak. While alone in his apartment, despite being just 41 years old, he had suffered a massive stroke from a large blood clot in one of the major blood vessels in his brain.

Over the course of many hours, he courageously dragged himself into the hallway where he could be found and taken to the hospital for care. Thankfully, he arrived in time for the clot to be removed by physicians not only to give him the best chance at recovery, but more importantly, to save his life. Brandon would have likely left us that day had he not fought so very hard to get help. His medical team affirms that what he did to save himself is nothing short of a miracle.

Brandon’s stroke resulted from an undetected clotting disorder and heart arrhythmia. In the medical field these conditions are a truly dangerous pair. Not only will he need to manage these conditions for the rest of his life, but he has a long road to rehabilitate the right side of his body and regain his speech.

The journey, with all of its many challenges, will hopefully be a journey of full recovery. However, it will come at a significant financial cost. Brandon is a father, son, brother, uncle, and friend who needs your help to ease the burden of his medical expenses so that he may focus on the road ahead.
