In the blink of an eye, Brandon and his 8-year-old daughter, Hayden Taylor, lost everything they owned in a devastating fire. Their home, their belongings, the everyday comforts that make life feel normal, gone. By God’s grace, Brandon is safe, Hayden is safe, and their dogs are safe. And while that is what truly matters most, the road ahead is still long and overwhelming.
Hayden is a smart, sweet, energetic, and beautiful little girl. At just 8 years old, she doesn’t yet understand the full weight of what this fire has taken from her. To her, it’s the loss of her toys, her clothes, her familiar space, the little things that make a child feel secure. She deserves stability, comfort, and a sense of normalcy as her world begins to rebuild.
Brandon has lived in this community his entire life. Many of you know him not because he asked for recognition, but because he showed up when it mattered most. He has spent decades serving others, first as a volunteer firefighter and now as a paramedic. Day after day, year after year, Brandon has answered calls in the middle of the night, run toward danger, and helped people on what were often the worst days of their lives. He has always put others first, often without pay, without praise, and without hesitation.
Now, for once, Brandon is the one who needs help.
This fundraiser isn’t about charity. It’s about community. It’s about showing up for a man who has spent his entire life showing up for others. It’s about giving Brandon the peace of mind that his daughter is taken care of, that they can rebuild, and that he can continue doing what he has always done, serving others with a full heart.
Brandon doesn’t even know this is being done. Our hope is to lift this burden from his shoulders and remind him that the same community he has protected and cared for all these years is here for him now.
If Brandon has ever helped you, cared for your family, or touched your life in any way, or if you simply feel moved to help a father and daughter start over, please consider supporting them in whatever way you can. Most of all, they need your prayers as they begin this journey of rebuilding.
Thank you for loving this family, for standing with them in prayer and kindness, and thanking God for their survival!
