Support Brandi's Fight for Her Children's Safety

I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my sister, Brandi O’Neill. All proceeds will go directly towards legal fees and resources to aid in her fight to keep herself and her girls safe. I love my sister and nieces so much and I’ll do anything I can to help them. We can’t change the past but we can be optimistic for the future.

In August of 2023, my sister abruptly left Canada after living there and enduring 7 years of an abusive relationship. There were many times she wanted to leave but was always pulled back. After her first child was born in 2021, she thought things were getting better and that there was hope for a “normal” relationship. It wasn’t until she started to suspect foul play with one of her children that she was brave enough to say enough is enough. Since being in the states, my sister has fought with the system trying to get justice or proof of what has been going on. Her ex is now trying to pursue legal action to have the children returned to Canada.

My sister left with the clothes on her back and does not have much. She has been working odds and ends jobs to get by but she needs help to gain the legal resources necessary to fight this battle and prove that returning the children to Canada would not be safe.
