My name is Brittany, and I want to start by saying that Brandi and Jeff did not want to ask for ANY financial help. However, I felt it in my heart that, with all the love and support surrounding them, we could come together and help in any way possible.
From the moment I met Brandi, it has been abundantly clear that she was born to be a mother. She truly has the biggest heart I know. Her kindness, patience, and nurturing nature shine through in everything she does. She has always dreamed of having a family of her own and is a natural caregiver.
For those familiar with fertility challenges, you understand both the emotional heartbreak and the significant financial burden. Unfortunately, most insurance providers do not deem fertility treatments "medically necessary" and will not cover these expenses. Up to this point, Brandi and Jeff have paid for everything out of pocket but they are now at the extent of their financial capacity.
With full transparency, they are facing costs of approximately $20,000+ for medications, ultrasounds, bloodwork, procedures, lab fees, facility fees, embryo testing, and the embryo transfer.
IVF is their only chance of having a biological child, but their first round did not go as they had hoped. Brandi’s doctor had expected better results based on how promising everything looked before retrieval. However, he believes that by making some adjustments to her medication, they can improve their chances of obtaining more embryos in the next round.
If you are unable to donate, please keep this wonderful couple in your thoughts and prayers as they continue this journey. Any donation, no matter how big or small, would be deeply appreciated to help Brandi and Jeff pursue another round of treatment this year.
