Support the 2nd Annual Boise Trans March ✊ We Belong Here
Last year, Boise made history with the First Trans Joy March in Idaho . Together, we showed our community, our city, and our state that Trans, Nonbinary, and Intersex people are here, we are thriving, and we are not alone.
This year, the world around us feels different. Politically, socially, and culturally, the pressure against our community has intensified. But so has our resilience, our creativity, and our joy. Out of last year’s March, we birthed Trans Joy Boise , a grassroots collective by and for Trans, Nonbinary, and Intersex locals led by Preston (Pacey Speaks ) & Bonnie Violet (a queer chaplain ).
In just one year, we’ve:
✨ Hosted the Trans Day of Remembrance Temple Burn
Launched the Trans Joy Boise Podcast (new episodes weekly!)
Created weekly social support group
☕️ Gathered community at our monthly Trans Joy Boise Café — a mix of fair + social space where folks can access resources like help with name and gender marker changes, while also just being in joyful community
Hosted a Trans Wedding celebrating love and visibility
…and so much more.
Now, we’re calling on you to help us keep the momentum going. The 2nd Annual Boise Trans March will be held on September 5, 2025, and we need to raise $2,000 in just 2 weeks to cover permits, supplies, outreach, accessibility, and the essentials that make a march safe, powerful, and joyful.
