Hello!

my name is Victoria. On May 2nd of 2024, my father Robert (Bob) Jackson had his foot and part of his leg amputated after he developed a severe infection in his left foot that spread to the bones. My father is a traveling Neurodiagnostic Technologist and Army Veteran. He was working out in California when the infection started and had to drive home for 3 days with his foot practically rotting. He tried to get short term disability and after weeks of going back and forth, he was denied. He has used up all of his savings and I am out of work currently to be his full time caregiver at home while he recovers. We both are out of money and are struggling now to pay our bills. We are scared to lose our home, our cars, and to be able to afford our necessities. We do not know what else to do. We feel bad to have to ask for help but are running out of options.
