Support Bob After Judy's Unexpected Passing

Hi, I am Muchelle Gooley, and I am starting this to help my father, Bob Gooley, with the expense of purchasing a headstone for our dear mom, Judy, who passed away unexpectedly on Jan 31st.

The funds raised will also go to assist in paying medical bills incurred from her hospital stay from Jan 12th through Jan 31st, which almost 2 weeks of that was in ICU. She went to the emergency room on Jan 12th with Covid and severe stomach pain. They discovered bleeding from a vein leaking into her stomach. She had underlying heart issues as well and was on a blood thinner. At one point, we thought she was going to be on life support after we were told a lung collapsed, but then they put her on a B-PAP machine. The lung started improving, and they said she must have aspirated some food or liquid. She was on a feeding tube for a few days but started improving. We were all so relieved, and eventually, she improved enough to be moved out of ICU on Jan 25th.

On Jan 31st, things were looking up as she was transferred to Heritage Point in Huntington to start rehabilitation. Unfortunately, she collapsed that evening, and we lost our dear mom, and my dad lost his wife of over 60 years. He is retired and has a limited income and has lost her social security. The life insurance paid for the funeral services, but that is basically it.

My dad has always been one to try to help others as he has volunteered at Loves for years helping out the local community. He doesn't know I am starting this, but now we are asking anyone who finds it in your heart to donate what you can. The funds will be used to help with my mom's medical bills and allow my dad to purchase a headstone. Any donation will be appreciated.
