Support Blythe and Paislee During Recovery
Donation protected
My name is Blythe. I’m a single mom of four kids. My daughter Paislee, she’s nine years old. She had a ruptured appendix; the Albany hospital missed it and sent us home. Due to that, it caused an abscess in her stomach, which caused a big infection. They didn’t want to open her up until they had given her quite a bit of antibiotics just to prevent making things worse. But in the middle of the night, her temperature spiked and her blood pressure skyrocketed. They woke us up in a panic and decided we needed to be rushed into surgery. They were able to get in and get the appendix out, but she has a huge infection in her stomach, so they placed a tube to drain out the infection. Not sure how long we will be here, but I’m having to take the next couple of weeks off of work. I am a waitress, and I live off my tips and my wages. I am just looking for enough help to be able to pay rent for May and a few other bills that I usually save for, but anything helps, even to share. Thank you all for your help and everybody who has reached out to me. I’ve never felt so supported.
