Support youth-led violence prevention

BLOOM365 Peer Advocate Council is a global movement of young people working to prevent violence and uproot abuse in this generation and generations to come. Funds will go directly to help this youth-led violence prevention effort take its next important step. Right now, BLOOM365 Peer Advocate Council is raising support to cover the startup costs of becoming an official 501(c)(4) organization and to offer fellowships to the young people leading this work. This moment matters because the council is already organizing, training, and leading violence prevention campaigns that challenge the social norms allowing violence to continue, and formal recognition will help strengthen that impact even more.

With this support, BLOOM365 Peer Advocate Council can get registered and recognized as a 501(c)(4), build a stronger foundation to influence policy, and create lasting change through violence prevention in communities. These funds will also help provide a launch pad into community-based violence prevention work for young leaders through fellowships that invest directly in their leadership. BLOOM365 Peer Advocate Council believes cultural change can begin with a committed critical mass of young people who are willing to model a different way of being together.
