Support Blocks of Hope for Children in Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
Hello, I am Shaurya Ranjan, rising senior at South Windsor High School. At the age of 14, I finished my treatment for stage 3 lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. The entire process was incredibly challenging and I felt the impacts emotionally, socially, and physically. I was fortunate to have supportive parents who helped me through each chemotherapy session by gifting me building block sets, which kept my mind off the nausea and other harsh side effects.
I realize that not all kids are as lucky, and some parents cannot afford to buy their children toys while also paying for hospital and other bills. This understanding inspired the creation of Blocks of Hope. Our foundation aims to raise funds to provide building blocks to children undergoing tough treatments, helping them focus on something positive and creative during a challenging time.
100% of all donations go directly toward purchasing LEGO sets for children undergoing cancer treatment and for hospitals to distribute to pediatric oncology patients—giving them comfort and joy when they need it the most. See pics in the updates.
