Support Black Small Business & Meals For Homeless
Donation protected
Small businesses run by black people and homeless people are the most affected by the pandemic. This is a fundraiser to try to diminish that. Two sisters who started building a long-life dream together: having their own restaurant. Unfortunately, with the pandemic, many small businesses were affected, especially those run by black people. From 30 daily meals, they went to 3 meals a day. On top of that, they work in another city, so as not to put me at risk and unable to spend on gas, they decided to sleep there, but they lost the place where they stayed and now they also have expenses with renting and buying furniture. With a heavy heart, they had to shut down their only employee and stop the distribution of free meals to people in homeless situations. They are almost closing doors, but this is a place that they fought to be at and I don't want them to give it up. Throughout their lives, they have been exploited by this sordid system that sees black and poor bodies as disposable. From Sunday to Sunday, standing more than 8 hours a day, with no breaks, holidays, nothing. I just want to try everything I can to help them have a decent life. That's why I'm here, asking for your help to continue building my mother's and my aunt's dream. And helping several other families who depended on them for a meal. My goal is not only to recover what was lost but to grow enough that they are not on the verge of losing their business every month. Thanks in advance for your attention. Every penny will be important for us. Those who can not donate, can help a lot by promoting this fundraiser<3 You can also pay for meals for these families directly with us + 55 (21) 98473-4199.
