We are raising money from our community to support the ongoing operations of Birmingham AI. These funds will enable us to continue driving toward our mission to accelerate the adoption of AI in Birmingham.

For background, we are Birmingham AI, a non-profit with a mission to help accelerate the adoption of AI in Birmingham, AL. Our team of breakout leaders and volunteers lead free, open to the public sessions to teach people how to incorporate AI into their lives. Over the last few years we've run 175 meetups serving over 5,000 community members.

Our community has grown tremendously this year, but our funding hasn’t kept pace. We have paused our monthly meetups to get the organization in a good place financially before moving forward, and we will pick things back up in January.

We believe more than ever that AI will transform the way people live and work, and that Birmingham AI has an important role to play in making this transformation positive for Birmingham.

Best,

Austin + Will
