Support Billy's Fight Against Guillain-Barré
Donation protected
A month and half ago Billy started tingling in his feet and hands. He kinda brushed it off as a pinched never. Went to the chiropractor a couple times hoping that would ease the tingling, but that wasn’t the case. Fast forward to about a week ago, he started having weakness and tightness in his arms and legs. He went to prompt care and had some blood work done which came back normal. On Friday October 18th he started falling when walking and in a lot of pain, this falling and pain continued into Saturday. He woke up around 2:00AM in excruciating pain. I called his dad to ask him to take him to er. He came right away and that’s when he was admitted. By Sunday morning Billy began to have paralysis in his legs and arms. This paralysis and pain rapidly got worse from his shoulders down. He has had MRIs, CT, spinal tap, a lot of blood work. The drs have come to the conclusion he has Guillain-Barré syndrome. He is on IVIG treatment for 5 days. Monday night billy started having trouble breathing and swallowing from the paralysis. That’s when he was placed on a ventilator. At this time all we know is we have a long road to recovery. Billy will more than likely be in inpatient rehabilitation for some time. We do not know what functions he will regain or how long it will take. With that being said Billy will be out of work for quite some time.
As we all know Billy gets up and protects us daily being an officer , he puts his life at risk every single time he puts that uniform on! It’s our turn, let’s help Billy and Ansley by donating to them so money and their bills are not a concern during this time. Billy is the main income for the house hold, Ansley just started her new job and doesn’t have time built up to get a pay check, they have two boys that still need things, bills that will continue. Please help if you can , all proceeds go directly to Ansley & Billy. If you cannot donate please pray over him & his family.
