Hi my name is Helena from Toronto Canada. I have been consumed by the genocide in Palestine for over 600 days. I am here to tell you about Bilal and his family, I hope you will read to the end.

I have never done a GFM before but the ongoing genocide in Palestine is crushing lives by the minute. People need money for food and necessities. I want to help my fellow human and friend Bilal and his 3 children who are living in occupied Palestine.

These are his words:

"I am Bilal from Gaza, from Khan Yunis, I am 32 years old, I have 3 children, my wife was martyred and I do not have money to provide food for my children because everything is expensive... Before the war I had a clothing store and I had a beautiful family and a beautiful house, but the occupation destroyed everything."

Why do I want to help Bilal, someone whom I never met and may never meet? Because protesting, boycotting and writing to government officials is insufficient for me. I want to do something TANGIBLE. Money is energy, keep the flow of money moving. Whatever you share, will come back to you in some form.

It's the right thing to do.

All funds will go directly to Bilal Yahya Ahmed Mahmoud in Khan Younis Palestine. I promise that and I can speak to anyone who wants more information to feel safe in donating.

I'm starting with $1000 goal to make it achievable quickly. When i receive the funds to my RBC account, they will then be transferred to Bilal directly in Palestine or to his brother in Turkiye.
