Bike Parking Shelters for High School Students

We're raising money to build covered bike parking for both high schools in Newton, MA. Many students bike to school on fair-weather days, but on rainy or snowy days, students refrain from biking  because of a lack of protected places to put their bikes. This campaign is the student-run part of a larger fundraising effort by People for Bikes, Bike Newton, and the City of Newton. Funds will be used for the purchase and installation of 4 commercially-built bike shelters which provide protection from the elements on 3 sides. We hope to have these shelters installed by the start of school in September so that they benefit students this fall onwards.
