This incredible organization helps refugees in Northeast Florida build new lives by offering essential services that pave the way to self-sufficiency. Your generous donations will directly impact the lives of those starting anew, providing hope and opportunity.

Below is a message from the Co-Founder of Beyond90 the Table, Lori Chelf:

Our newest refugee neighbors are experiencing food insecurity due to recent legislation changes which require everyone who applies for food benefits to be a lawful permanent resident (green card holder). Refugees are fully vetted and approved to resettle in our community, but the current legal pathway does not offer them the opportunity to get a green card until they have been in the US for 1 year. At a time when they are most vulnerable and need the help of public benefits to start a new life, they are no longer able to access them. There are wonderful food banks in our community, but they do not provide culturally appropriate items that allow the refugees to cook the meals that are familiar to them and their families. Our aim is to supplement those programs. Our program, Beyond90 the Table, goes beyond hunger to preserve heritage.
