Beth’s Battle for Healing

If you know Beth, you know her smile lights up every room. She’s the hug you didn’t know you needed, the laugh that brightens your day, and the biggest cheerleader for everyone around her.

But behind that sparkle, Beth has endured more than 25 years of severe Rheumatoid Arthritis — a painful disease that has already required multiple surgeries just to keep her moving. Through it all, she never stopped showing up with joy and encouragement for others.

Now, Lupus has struck with a force none of us could have imagined. Her organs are under attack. Since March, she has been rushed to the ER countless times and spent weeks this summer in and out of Mayo Clinic, fighting to preserve her kidney function.

Today, she is hospitalized at Good Shepherd, facing a dangerous blood clot and an esophagus condition that prevents her from keeping food or water down.

The financial strain is overwhelming — medical bills, travel to Mayo, hotels, transportation, and time away from work are piling up. No one should have to worry about money while fighting to heal.

This is our moment to rally. To be her cheerleaders. To return the love, joy, and strength she has poured into all of us.
