Support Ben's Kitchen & Orphanage in Mexico w-Len & Tiffany

We're going to Mexico to serve again! This time, we'll be there for 5 days and we'll be serving more than one ministry down near Rosarito, south of Tijuana.

We're thrilled to be able to take you along for the ride again. As you know, last year, we served Ben's Kitchen by bringing Christmas to the children and their families there. We decorated the place, went Christmas shopping for them, and distributed both presents and letters written to the children by church members and individuals like yourselves! We cooked and served them dinner, cleaned up everything afterwards, and the kids took swings at a giant Christmas pinata.

We also shipped 20 new Spanish Bibles for the children that go to school there at the House of Hope right next door, also run by Dave Hessler and his wife Petra, courtesy of Workforce Control Solutions and the Fulkerson Family.

While we were there, we handed out 200 wood crosses to children, their families, and the volunteers. We strung necklace thread through each one individually and placed them around everyone's neck - bringing Jesus to every one we could reach during our time there.

This year, we'll be serving Ben's Kitchen again AND a local orphanage. There is another organization that needs our help, but the details regarding that day have not been disclosed yet. It will be another busy and fulfilling trip, I'm sure. Also, on this trip, we'll be bringing anaother 200-300 strung wood cross necklaces, each in their own 2x2 plastic bag. We'll also be using various colors of necklace thread to allow them to choose their color. It brought such joy to the children.

Our goal is slightly higher than last Christmas due to the extra day.

On my 60th surprise birthday, Tiffany notified everyone, in advance, that any cash gifts would be given to Ben's Kitchen. We received $1200 of cash gifts for my birthday, turned it around and sent a check to Dave Hessler there at Ben's Kitchen. Thanks to you, Ben's Kitchen is benefiting from your generosity towards me (I think!). :) Thank you so much for that! That made me VERY happy!
