Dear friends, family, and students, our beloved Benji Lazcano has been an incredible presence in our lives for the past five years. He came to the US to pursue his undergraduate degree and, along the way, became a cherished part of our community. Benji dedicated himself to growing soccer programs, nurturing and educating our kids, and spreading kindness wherever he went. His positive impact has touched so many, and we are grateful for all he has done.

Recently, Benji traveled to Chile to renew his visa ahead of its expiration. Unfortunately, not only was his renewal denied, but his current visa was also cancelled. This means Benji is not allowed to return to the US—not even to claim his belongings or fulfill the financial commitments he made while living here. This sudden and unexpected situation has left him in a difficult position, far from the community he loves and unable to access the things he needs.

We are reaching out to ask for your support in helping Benji during this challenging time. Funds raised will go toward shipping his belongings to him in Chile, supporting efforts to advocate for his visa renewal, and helping cover the financial obligations he cannot meet from abroad. We love Benji and are so grateful for everything he has done for our kids and our community. Any help you can offer is deeply appreciated. Thank you for standing with Benji and showing him the same kindness he has always shown to others.
