Ben D is running for dotMVPJr! The Annual Dorchester Day Parade is the first Sunday of June and is an incredible celebration of the neighborhood of Dorchester in Boston, Massachusetts.
The dotMVPJr is the new initiative within the Dorchester day parade to recognize an under 17 member of the Dorchester who has fundraised for the parade. The parade is not possible without the generosity of the city of Boston, businesses, neighbors, individuals and people like you!
Why is Ben running?
“I’m running for dotMVPJr because I am from Boston and have grown up in Dorchester. I deliver the Dorchester Reporter, last year I played for Dorchester Baseball, I participated in Challengers and now I am a volunteer, and I also played in Dorchester Youth Soccer and dot art when I was younger. I also am a member of the Dorchester Boys & Girls Club. I love the parade.
Who is Ben?
I am 13 and in 8th grade. I love history, baseball, the Red Sox, and legos. I love The Icecream Smith, Lazy Bear, and Lower Mills Tavern.
