My name is Ben Cook-Appel and I've been in Boy Scouts for 8 years. Now I'm working on my Eagle Scout project—building 12 garden beds for Earl Warren Elementary School.

These garden beds will give students hands-on learning opportunities outside the classroom. Kids will be able to grow vegetables, learn about plants, and just spend more time outdoors. The school is excited to use these beds for classes and gardening clubs.

I need to raise $1500 to buy materials like lumber and hardware. Every dollar goes directly toward building these beds that will benefit students for years to come.

The project will be completed by 11/20. I'll be organizing volunteer workdays where scouts will help build beds.
