Support Ben After Losing His Mother Jennifer

Hello All! For those of you that don't know me, my name is Nikki Lyford. I am reaching out to you all asking for some assistance for Jennifer Frost's (Funk) son, Ben.

As many of you know, we unfortunately lost Jennifer on Monday, 2/17/2025. This was a very tragic, unexpected, and unfortunate loss. Jennifer struggled with health issues significantly in the past few months. Jennifer was transferred to Tufts Medical Center in Boston, and despite all efforts, they were unable to save her.

This has been a devastating loss.

Those of you that knew Jennifer knew she was full of life, motivation, and was not ready to leave this world. She loved to make jokes and always knew how to light up a room.

In speaking with her, she said many times how she was not ready to leave this world, and she wanted more than anything to live. This broke all of our hearts as we were unable to save her despite attempting to obtain the best medical care we could find.

Jennifer was a Nurse Practitioner, a degree she worked hard for and was proud of. She was dedicated to helping the community and was working at a local walk-in care when she became very ill. Throughout it all, Jennifer was still putting everyone else before herself.

The most important thing in Jennifer's life was her family. She loved her parents, Susan and Ken, and her son, Ben, more than anything in the world. She was so terrified to leave them. Ben was living at home with Jennifer, and they were in the process of renovating her home. This was a project Jennifer was so excited for. She was working as much as possible to save money for the renovations; unfortunately, she passed before completion. She was working incredibly hard to make a beautiful home for her son (her best friend) and her to enjoy.

I have created this GoFundMe to support her son, Ben. He has been through a devastating loss and has a lot to deal with. I would like to raise money to help with her funeral expenses, help him complete the renovation, and give him a buffer to get by as he navigates a new life without his mother.

No child should have to say goodbye to their mother.

I'm just hoping to assist him in getting a head start and moving forward with his life.

The family would greatly appreciate any donations they receive. If you are unable to donate, prayers for the family, or even just posting a memory of Jennifer would be beneficial to assisting Ben and family through the grieving process.
