Support Belles Brave Heart Journey

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Mel and I am reaching out on behalf of my friend Sarah and her family with a hopeful heart to ask for your support for her brave daughter Belle, who is facing a critical moment in her young life.

Belle was diagnosed with a Rare genetic disease called OFCD, that only affects 1 in one million people. This condition has impacted her since birth, constantly having many different treatments, surgeries and procedures in the Royal children’s hospital throughout 4.5 years. One of the many major health diagnosis are heart disease and defects. Belle requires open heart surgery to repair the defect in her upper chambers. This news has deeply impacted the family, but we are all standing strong beside Belle, determined to give her the best care possible and help her through this journey.

The surgery is essential to her quality of life, and while we are incredibly grateful for the medical team working with us, the financial burden is overwhelming. Between hospital bills, travel expenses, time off work, and ongoing care after surgery, this small family are struggling to make ends meet.

Donations will go directly towards Medical costs, travel and accomodation, post surgery medication and rehabilitation and supporting the family during time off work to care for Belle.
