Most of you know that we’ve had Bella since she was 10 days old. Born at 15 ounces and addicted, this miracle baby fought like hell to be here. She’s the most amazing human - full of life and hope and love.

JJ and I have had legal guardianship since the beginning, to ensure she is protected and raised how she DESERVES.

Unfortunately and tragically, BOTH of her biological parents passed away this week. Her bio-dad passed on 1/11 and my sister-in-law passed away on 1/13. Sadly, neither one was able to beat the demons or health issues that plagued them.

So, here we are. Guardianship is not parenthood, legally. We need to legally adopt Bella. Now. Neither one of us has the $4,500 that CA requires, nor the extras that will be needed with fingerprints, physicals, and inspection fees. We also want to set Bella up with a way to honor her bio parents at their services.

As of now, we have not told her of either passing. But we plan to very soon. There will be funerals, and in this small of a town - it’s impossible to completely protect her. But - we are trying. For as long as we can.

Please help us. Please help us make sure she never gets lost in the system. Please, with $5 or a share, you can help us save her, and give her the life she deserves - a normal childhood.
