Help Bella Fight Brain Cancer
Hi, my name is Alex Breitmaier, and I’m raising funds to support my incredible daughter, Bella — a brilliant, strong, and determined 21-year-old who had her whole life ahead of her.
Bella is a double major in Anthropology and History at the University of South Florida. She’s not only academically driven but also hardworking, holding a part-time job at the campus bookstore while excelling in her studies.
In early March, Bella suddenly lost the ability to control her left leg. She could still feel sensations, but movement became nearly impossible. Doctors initially believed physical therapy would help, and we held onto hope. Then, on her birthday, March 27th, Bella noticed her left arm feeling heavy and difficult to move. By March 31st, she had lost control of that arm too.
We rushed her to the ER, and our worst fears were confirmed — doctors discovered a mass on her brain. Just two days later, Bella underwent brain surgery. The tumor was large and determined to be melanoma. Although most of it was successfully removed, she has been diagnosed with brain cancer and now faces a challenging road of ongoing treatments and recovery. While her hand function is slowly returning, her leg remains unresponsive.
Despite everything, Bella remains determined to fight. Her spirit is unbreakable, and she continues to face each day with courage and grace.
We’re raising funds to help cover Bella’s medical expenses — including treatment, rehabilitation, and the many unexpected costs that come with a diagnosis like this. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the burden and allow Bella to focus on healing and continuing her journey.
If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing her story. Thank you for supporting our strong, beautiful girl as she fights this battle.
