Support Bella Cook's Eagle Scout Garden Project

My name is Bella Cook, and I am a Life Scout with Troop 4044 in San Mateo. I am currently working towards becoming an Eagle Scout. I have been involved in scouting for 7 years, starting in Cub Scouts in Pack 3. To become an Eagle Scout and conclude your Scout training you come up with a project that you want to do for your community. The project that I proposed to the PacSky Council was rebuilding the garden at Ivy Park Senior Living. The Council approved my beautification project and now I need to raise funds to be able to carry out the project.

When my great grandmother Evelyn was no longer able to take care of her self she moved into the Ivy Park Senior Living center. Sadly not to long after she passed away. So when I had the opportunity to start my Eagle Scout project I knew exactly what I wanted to do to help the community and in memory of my great grandmother. My great grandmother and her new friends at the Ivy Park Senior Living Center loved to garden but due to the recent storms the vegetable garden boxes were damaged and unsafe to use. For my Eagle Scout project I am going to rebuild the (x6) vegetable planter boxes and plant additional flowers around the garden. I am reaching out to the community to seek donations that will help to purchase the materials needed to complete this project.
