This is Moira. She is three months old. She had her daddy in her life for 3 beautiful months. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Martin (Marty) Schutzius: beloved son, brother, husband, father, cousin, friend, and so much more. For the past 5 years, Marty and his ride-or-die wife, Beka, have battled illness after illness. Through all the doctor visits, hospital stays, and surprises, the one thing they always wanted was a family. In July, they were blessed with their daughter, Moira. Mid-October brought a sudden change to their lives when Marty was hospitalized with pneumonia and passed surrounded by family and friends just after 12 pm on October 17th.

Given the severity of his illness and the cost of care, he was not able to obtain life insurance, leaving Beka and Moira with little to help them get by. Our goal is to raise funds to give them breathing room and take time to heal from this devastating loss. Whether it is $5 or $500, anything given will be forever appreciated and used to support this small family, now missing its heart.
