Beech St. Community Garden sits in the heart of Portland’s Madison South neighborhood, tucked just behind The Grotto, where neighbors of all ages come together to grow food, learn, and build connection.

Our mission is to cultivate a thriving, inclusive space where community members can come together to grow fresh, healthy food, foster environmental stewardship, and strengthen social connections. Through sustainable gardening practices, educational opportunities, and shared responsibility, we aim to nourish both the land and the spirit of our neighborhood.

As we prepare for the 2026 growing season, we’re raising funds to keep the garden healthy and accessible. Your support will help us purchase plants, mulch, compost, tools, and other essential materials that allow this space to flourish.
