Hurricane Helene relief fund for Becky and Bo

"From the cradle to the grave" and "I love you more" have been our phrases to each other for most of our lives. My friend Becky and I have been friends since before we were born! My mom and her grandmother who were the best of friends themselves were going to make sure of it! On September 27, 2024, Hurricane Helene left my friend Becky,her husband Bo, and their 4 furkids with no place to live. There were trees through the house and the basement was severely flooded, rendering the house unlivable. The damage is severe and they will most likely be displaced for up to a year. While they do have homeowners insurance, only some of the damage is covered. The insurance company has stated that the downstairs damage was caused by flooding, and they did not have flood insurance. They have both always worked in public safety/ public service jobs. Becky has always worked as a 911 operator, a prison employee, and

since 2009 has worked with probation/parole where she now serves as Chief Probation Officer. Her husband has 20 years of service at a local prison where he now serves as a Sergeant. They have dedicated their lives to the safety of the citizens in NC. Becky has always stepped up and tried to help others in their time of need.
