Help Bean go to Florida and protect reproductive rights

This election Florida has some of the most consequential elections in the nation. At the top of the list is abortion rights; there is a binding state constitutional amendment which needs to get 60% of the state’s votes to overturn the current 6 week abortion ban which has all but stopped safe legal abortions in the state.

Bean is volunteering with the Flip project especially doing voter registration outreach to Creole and Spanish speaking residents of Florida. Polls show that newly registered voters are especially likely to support the return of reproductive rights to Florida women. Bean will be postering and flyering in these communities at stores, bus stops, and Creole and Spanish speaking churches.

These postering techniques have already proven to be more effective than door-to-door canvassing for getting people to register to vote and this is especially true when the desired communities are not English-speaking.

Bean has done postering and canvasing work before at natural disaster cites in Florida and currently works with latin refugees in RIchmond. As such their relevant experience and Spanish fluency would be a great help to the Flip project.

Your donations will go to cover the cost of their travel, in-state transport and materials expenses. Their housing and meals are covered by the local campaigns that are happy to have their help.

This is going to be a close election, please help this charismatic campaigner work in a place where they are most needed.
