The 12th Annual Be The Dream Turkey Drive is a community-driven initiative hosted by ASPIRE to combat food insecurity in Nashville. This year’s goal is to provide Thanksgiving meals for 1,000 individuals in East Nashville.

With the support of partners like 101.1 The Beat, Berhnheim Kelley Injury Attorneys, Slim & Husky’s Pizza, Metro Nashville Public Schools, and community leaders, the event aims to bring comfort and hope to families during the holiday season.

Thanksgiving is a beloved tradition, a time when families gather, share a meal, and reflect on the many blessings in their lives. Yet, for countless Americans, the holiday season brings not warmth and abundance, but anxiety and uncertainty. Even as we read this, lives are impacted by hunger, with 1 in 6 Americans facing food insecurity. In a country of wealth and opportunity, nearly 50 million individuals don’t know when or where their next meal will come.

The 12th Annual Be The Dream Turkey Drive is on a mission to address this pressing issue within our Nashville community. Our goal this year is ambitious yet essential: to provide meals for 1,000 individuals.

Since 2013, ASPIRE has joined forces with community champions—organizations, individuals, and leaders—to bring hope and sustenance to Nashville residents. With support from our partners, including 101.1 The Beat, Slim & Husky’s Pizza, Aspire, Metro Nashville Public Schools, Jermaine “Starlito” Shute and Grind Hard, Dominique & Cody Sensabaugh, William Wilson Homes, Channing Bailey, Chef Batts, and Robert Higgins, alongside countless volunteers, donors, athletes, and entertainers, we continue to uplift our community.

This November, we are launching a giving campaign to raise $5,000 to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in East Nashville. Join us as we come together to give back. 101.1 The Beat is our proud media partner. Led by Nashville native author and speaker Patrick Walker-Reese will kick off the #BETHEDREAM Turkey Drive alongside local leaders, athletes, and entertainers.
