Support Barqa's Christian Community Church and statue

Story

Hello, my name is Angelo Iskandar. I have been tasked to choose a service project by my school. I thought long and hard to do something that means something to me and that I would be passionate about. I chose to help build a church in Lebanon where Christians have been struggling. A little back story about this church. My uncle decided to start building this church 20 years ago as the mayor of the small town named Barqa. Since then, construction started 12 years ago but lacks the funds to keep going. I also decided to help with the construction of a statue of a priest named Nicolas kluiter. A missionary from holland he was an amazing man to say the least. He founded schools and hospitals and helped the poorest of the poor. Unfortunately on the night of march 14, 1985 on the way back from a service we was kidnapped and murdered. His martyrdom shows us the devotion he had to God and the people that is why I would like to build a statue in his name in the village where he served which is the same town where the church is getting constructed.
