A fire broke out at the Bari Manor apartments in Croton-on-Hudson on Sunday, May 25. . We would like to raise money in support of these families.
**Update: Almost 4 months later, the fire and displacement have caused tremendous financial hardship to the people who were impacted. None of the apartments that were damaged in the fire are currently livable, and the families are struggling. Please support them if you are able.
**Update 5/28/25
3 Families that were displaced are no back living in their apartments.
3 Other Families are not longer able to inhabit their apartments due to fire damage.
- Apartment 50 where the fire started is a total loss. A mother and an adult daughter were living there together and are currently looking for housing. They lost all of their belongings.
- Apartment 45 is also a total loss. A mother and 17 year old son are currently looking for housing. They lost all of their belongings.
- Apartment 46 is the least damaged but still not habitable. A mother and adult daughter are looking for temporary housing. They were able to salvage some of their belongings.
Based on this information the disbursement of this Go Fund Me will go the families living in those 3 apartments (50, 45, 46) with the following distribution 40% to Apt 50, 40% to Apt 45, and 20% to Apt 46.
Because there are multiple beneficiaries. I will send the money raised to them via Zelle.
