Hello everyone,

My name is Melissa, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult seasons my family has ever faced.

I’m asking for help on behalf of my daughter, who is a small business owner and has recently gone through two major, life-saving surgeries. The first surgery involved the removal of a tumor in her stomach the size of a soccer ball. Shortly after, she required a second surgery to remove a blood clot that extended the length of her leg.

These surgeries were unexpected and medically necessary, and her recovery has been intense. Because my daughter is self-employed, she has no paid time off or disability benefits. While she focuses on healing, there is no income coming in, yet medical bills and everyday living expenses continue to add up.

As a mother, my deepest hope is that my daughter can focus fully on her recovery without the added stress of financial worry. This fundraiser is intended to help cover medical expenses, basic living costs, and give her the time and space she needs to heal properly.
