Hello,
My name is Mohammed, and I’m a 24-year-old Software QA Engineer from Gaza.
Before the War: A Glimpse of My Life as a Software QA Engineer in Gaza
Just a few days before the war began on October 7, 2023, I got engaged to the love of my life — Noor Al-Huda.
It was a time full of hope and dreams for a better future.
But just five days later… everything changed.
- The Day of Our Joy
This photo was taken on the happiest day of our lives — the day we got engaged.
We were full of hope, love, and dreams of a peaceful future together.
We never imagined that just days later, everything would be taken from us.
Today, we hold on to this moment as a reminder of love, resilience, and the family we’re still fighting to build — for ourselves, and for our daughter Sahar who is about to be born.

- We Lost Everything
We lost our home in **Khan Younis – Abasan Al-Kabira**, the place where we had just started our married life.
The home we dreamed would hold our family… is now rubble.
We lost shelter, safety, and peace — all in an instant.
Worse, Noor lost her beloved father in this war.
We became displaced, without income, without food, without stability — trying to survive in unbearable conditions.
- A Baby on the Way… and Nothing to Welcome Her
Despite all the pain, we got married during the war.
Soon after, Noor became pregnant.
As I write this on June 24, Noor is now in her ninth month of pregnancy.
Our daughter, **Sahar**, could arrive any day now.
But we are completely unprepared:
• No baby supplies
• No safe place to live
• No food
• No income
Our savings are gone. Prices have doubled or tripled.
We barely afford basic needs — let alone preparing for childbirth.
- About Noor – A Future Stolen
Noor is more than just a mother-to-be.
She is brilliant, ambitious, and full of light.
She graduated in 2023 — **top of her class** — with a degree in Primary Education.
She had just been selected to teach at her university — a dream she worked so hard to achieve.
But the war stole her future, her father, and her chance to live in peace.
Now, she carries our baby through grief, hunger, and fear.
We Are Asking for the Bare Minimum
We are not asking for luxury.
We are simply asking for your help to welcome Sahar into this world with dignity.
Your donation will help us:
• Buy baby supplies (clothes, diapers, milk)
• Afford basic food and hygiene essentials
• Cover medical care for delivery
• Secure temporary shelter
Every Contribution Counts
We are holding onto hope, but we cannot do this alone.
Please — help us survive.
Help us bring Sahar into this world with love, not fear.
Every donation, every share, every prayer…
means the world to us.
With all our gratitude,
Mohammed & Noor
