June Lilyanna Foor was born early in the morning on 6/27/25 and she is a living breathing miracle! We are so in love with her and grateful to God for blessing us with such a precious gift. She’s the strongest little baby, full of deep peace and bravery, and we can’t wait for the day we get to hold her in our arms.

At 19 weeks she received a severe diagnosis, a congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) which means her diaphragm didn’t fully form and caused a hole allowing all of her organs including bowels and part of her liver to be pushed up and compressed into the left side of her chest. This means that although there can be slight growth in pregnancy, there just wasn’t enough space for her heart or lungs to be able to develop fully. The prognosis originally was told to us that she may not survive post birth which was the hardest part to walk through in pregnancy.

Immediately at birth, her care team put her breathing tube in, stabilized her quickly, and rushed her off to the NICU. In just her first 6 days of life she has already had 2 surgeries and she’s been such a fighter. There have been ups and downs already, doctors say it’s literally hour by hour especially at the beginning, but we are so thankful to Jesus for watching over her and know that God is her strength! We are now home from the hospital and commuting back and forth daily to spend time with her at the NICU as well as interact with her doctors and nurses.

We are incredibly grateful for every bit of love, prayer, and support we’ve received as we walk through this unexpected and very emotional journey with June in the NICU.

This fundraiser is to help relieve some of the heavy financial strain that comes with this season. For those of you that don’t know we serve a Christian ministry and are support raised in that. Wes also currently works part time and Cat worked part-time until 32 weeks of pregnancy. The past few months have been tricky financially as Wes’s work cut hours while at the same time Cat stepped out of work to solely focus on motherhood and the many doctor’s appointments for June.

For transparency, we will be using the fundraised money for extra bills, unpaid time taken off of work, and the day-to-day expenses of caring for our family during this time. Donations will go directly toward medical costs, travel to and from the hospital, meals, groceries, household bills, and helping us stay afloat while we focus on our baby’s health and recovery. In addition to the current costs, we’ve also been managing a number of extra bills over the past few months that have led to some unavoidable debt from things like credit card payments and our own medical/dental bills.

Part of this fundraiser will help us catch up and recover from that financial weight so we can move forward with more stability as a family. If we are blessed to receive the entirety of our goal, please know that any extra funds will be set aside to support our baby’s ongoing specialty care and therapies, future medical needs, and anything else our family might face as we transition out of the NICU and into this next chapter.
