- Jesse Lemuel Newman II was born today (6/12) and will be in the hospital for at least a month, as he needs an open heart surgery. He had a balloon atrial septostomy at birth and will have an open heart surgery to correct his transposition of the great arteries in the coming weeks, while Jesse and Carissa go between the hospital and the Ronald McDonald house which will provide them a nearby place to stay with big sister Raine, but their income flow is probably going to completely stop temporarily.
