My cousin Emily went into premature labor at just 27 weeks pregnant on December 11th. What should have been months more of preparation turned into an emergency, life-changing moment. Emily & Casey’s baby, Janie Jay, arrived far earlier than expected and is now receiving care in the NICU for the next 3 months.

While we are all incredibly grateful for the dedicated medical team caring for their baby, this journey comes with overwhelming emotional, physical, and financial stress. Long hospital stays, medical bills, time away from work, daycare costs for their son Jace, and the everyday expenses of life continue to add up during this uncertain time.
