On July 15th at 11:19 AM we were so very blessed to bring our beautiful little angel of a daughter baby Holliday Halona Anhaly Jolene Muir “Holli” into the world, But sadly almost immediately after I had given birth to her the delivery Dr and nurses all noticed something was terribly wrong she was having trouble breathing and she instantly was put on oxygen and before we could even hold her or see her fully she was rushed off to the NICU where she’s been for the past 22 long hard days , which have definitely been the hardest 3 weeks of our lives, Now since being born we’ve learned that she not only has a rare genetic disorder called Koolen-De Vries syndrome also known as KDVS which is unfortunately partly to blame for why she’s still in the hospital today but also she sadly suffers from many other health conditions/disorders all of which will require life long medical attention, multiple types of therapies, endless doctors appointments and sadly even many surgeries to come, we are asking for the donations for four main reasons the first one being we absolutely have to move as soon as possible from our beloved home currently in Newberg to Portland because Holliday’s unable to receive the specialty care she needs in our current county, so in other words moving expenses. Reason number two is our family including our other daughter 1 year old little Lorelei all have been living at the hospital for the entirety of Holliday’s unfortunate stay and we just simply can not afford to live off of hospital food which you’d be surprised by how unbelievably crazy expensive it actually is. The third reason we are asking for donations is because we are going to need a car in order to get around to her appointments and ect.. nothing fancy something cheap from the auction would gladly suffice and be absolutely perfect to our family. And lastly and most importantly of all the final reason we are asking for donations is because eventually when baby Holliday is released from the hospital according to the opinions of several of her NICU doctors she will likely need multiple types of monitors to be safe at home and sadly although having full coverage and OHP her insurance stupidly wont cover the cost of her monitors so long as she isn’t on oxygen when she leaves the hospital despite being against numerous doctors concerns and opinions, this is just a cost we’re going to have to pay for out of pocket. well if you’ve read to this point thanks for following along and taking the time to hear our story it means the world to our family that you cared enough to hear us out and we absolutely whole heartedly appreciate everyone single one of you and hope you all have a wonderful day ahead of you. ❤️ Thanks Holliday’s mommy and family
