Hello, I am creating this on behalf of my son who was born into this world on 12/17/2025 weighing 3lbs 11oz, 10 weeks prematurely due to an infection that had developed in his placenta. It only effects roughly 1% of all pregnancies and im just lucky my body my body naturally went into labor before the infection was able to spread further than it did. That being said my son (Carter) will be in the nicu an hour away from all of us for the next 10 weeks. That's if he continues to go in the right direction and doesn't include any complications that may show up as he grows and becomes stronger! Gas just these last several days has already started taking its toll, and splitting our time between the 2 places so my older 3 children can still get time with mom and dad as well.
