Hi! My name is Bennett Kowalczyk, but you can call me Benny. I am 8 days old now and I have already had 1 surgery, and I will have a second surgery next week. These surgeries are needed before I can have my big surgery to fix my heart.

My mommy (Sydni) and daddy (Erik) have probably told most of you that, I have a rare heart anomaly, an intestinal blockage, and then I surprised everyone after I was born with another rare anomaly of my esophagus and trachea. My first surgery was done to disconnect the esophagus from the trachea and insert a G-tube into my belly to help remove any trapped air/gas. My surgery next week will be to close my esophagus and possibly fix the blockage in my intestines so I can start eating some of my mommy's yummy milk! Once that surgery is done, I will have to heal for awhile before they can do the surgery to fix my heart. The doctors here in California are amazing, but they think I will need to stay here for at least 3-4 months.

With that being said, I really want my mommy and daddy to be able to stay here with me without the added stress of worrying how to pay for the bills from home. We would all appreciate any help you can give to cover the bills for the next few months.
