Support Babul Keyer: Feed Those in Need in Addis Ababa
Donation protected
Asalamu Alaykum,
Charity is one of the pillars of Islam and a way to seek Allah’s mercy and blessings. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” Inspired by this teaching, I am raising funds for Babul Keyer, a non-governmental organization in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, dedicated to alleviating severe food insecurity among the city’s most vulnerable populations.
A little about me: I’m someone with a personal connection to this cause. My family and I have worked to support communities in Ethiopia in the past, and I’ve seen firsthand how vital these efforts are. Babul Keyer is especially close to my heart because of its remarkable work. Over the past three years, they have consistently prepared meals twice daily for 2,000 direct beneficiaries and 3,000 indirect beneficiaries, regardless of age, belief, or gender, focusing on the poorest communities within Addis Ababa.
The funds raised will be sent directly to Babul Keyer to support their ongoing operations. This includes purchasing ingredients, maintaining their kitchen facilities, and ensuring meals can be prepared and distributed every day. Transparency is essential to me, so I want to assure you that every dollar donated will be used for this purpose.
Please consider donating and spreading the word. Together, we can contribute to meaningful change for those in need. For more information about Babul Keyer and their impact, I’ve included a link to their website below.
May Allah reward your generosity and multiply your blessings in this life and the hereafter.
